We're a family butcher at 21 High Street, and most days you'll find the counter stacked with fresh beef, lamb, pork and chicken alongside a run of our own pies and puddings. The steak pies are what folk come back for, packed with chunks of meat, baked fresh and sold in small, medium or large. We make our own sausages, Lorne and black pudding too, and there's a shelf of heat-at-home meals like chicken curry and beef lasagne for the nights nobody feels like cooking. Pop in and the butcher will sort you out, and yes, we'll tell you exactly how long to give a pie in the oven.

Are the steak pies made fresh?
Yes, we make and bake them in the shop. They're sold in small, medium or large most days, and we'll tell you how long to give them in the oven.
Do you make your own sausages and puddings?
We do. Our sausages, Lorne, black pudding and haggis are all made the traditional way here at the counter.
Do you sell ready meals?
Yes, we keep a shelf of homemade heat-at-home meals like chicken curry and beef lasagne for busy nights.
Where can I park?
We're on the High Street in the centre of Galashiels with the town car parks close by, so it's an easy stop.
